At iCeMS International we believe, as scientists, that we live in exciting times. Time to discover together, and time to create together.

Ultimately, our mission at iceMS International is to explore the secrets of life by creating compounds to control cells. One day, further down the road, we also hope to create life-inspired super materials that confront and solve the myriad of problems that afflict modern society.

Life in Kyoto

Kyoto is a city of rich cultural heritage with over 1,200 years of history. As such, many consider it as the country’s spiritual wellspring and cultural heartland. You’ll never be shy of things to do in Kyoto.

What’s more, the city is also home to many impressive corporations like Nintendo and Omron. Because of this, Kyoto is a city which promises a lot of potential and excitement.

Kitagawa

Combining Kyoto University’s established strengths in cell biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, we delve deeply into the boundary of materials and life. At iCeMS International, we seek innovative and radical solutions to solving many of life’s problems.

What’s more, we make concentrated efforts through interdisciplinary research to pioneer the new research of integrated cell-material sciences. We are at the forefront of discovery.
